Privacy policy
Clawmagotchi
This Privacy Policy explains how Soggle LLC handles information in connection with the Clawmagotchi iOS app and its related connector workflow. Clawmagotchi is an account-backed companion app where pet progression can reflect OpenClaw activity through a separate privacy-bounded connector.
This policy describes the categories of information Clawmagotchi may process, how that information is collected and used, how it may be shared with service providers, how users can revoke consent, how long data may be retained, and how deletion requests can be made.
Information Clawmagotchi may collect
- Account and authentication information associated with Sign in with Apple and the app’s account-backed flow.
- Pet state, progression, preferences, and related in-app activity stored through live backend services.
- Push notification registration information, such as installation identifiers, device-token values, notification settings, and related preference flags.
- Subscription and entitlement status needed to determine premium access.
- Ad-consent state and related advertising configuration when advertising features are used.
- Support communications and any screenshots, device details, or descriptions the user includes.
How information is collected
- Directly from the user during sign-in, onboarding, support, settings changes, and app interaction.
- Automatically through app requests needed to sync account-backed pet state and notification settings.
- Through Apple frameworks such as Sign in with Apple, push-notification permission flows, and StoreKit purchases.
- Through ad-consent and ad-serving integrations if advertising is shown.
- Through the optional OpenClaw connector, which sends bounded event metadata to the Clawmagotchi backend.
How information is used
- To authenticate users and associate app state with the correct account.
- To power pet progression, activity timelines, connection state, and other app features.
- To register and manage push notifications and notification preferences.
- To verify premium status, restore purchases, and manage access to paid features.
- To show or suppress ads based on consent and premium status.
- To diagnose bugs, respond to support requests, and improve service reliability.
Connector data practices
The separate OpenClaw connector is intentionally designed to be conservative. Based on the current connector code, it can emit event types such as prompt-sent, tool-used, research-completed, or coding-session-completed events, along with bounded metadata.
- By default it does not send prompt text, transcript text, command output, file contents, raw diffs, or secrets.
- Git metadata is opt-in and not sent unless explicitly enabled.
- The connector is intended to send only the metadata needed to make Clawmagotchi activity meaningful.
Third-party services and sharing
Clawmagotchi may rely on third-party providers such as:
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and push-notification permission and delivery infrastructure.
- Supabase, for app-backed authentication and live data flows.
- Google advertising and consent services, if ad features are active.
Soggle LLC does not sell personal information. Information is intended to be shared only as needed to operate Clawmagotchi and its connected services.
Retention
Clawmagotchi may retain account-backed data, pet state, notification settings, and entitlement-related information for as long as needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Some categories of information may also be retained according to the retention practices of Apple, Supabase, or other enabled service providers.
Revoking consent and managing choices
- Users can stop using Sign in with Apple and can manage associated app access through Apple account settings.
- Users can disable push notification permissions in the iPhone Settings app.
- Users can manage premium subscriptions through Apple subscription settings.
- Users can manage ad-related choices through available consent flows and device-level settings where applicable.
- Users can disconnect or stop using the OpenClaw connector and can rotate connection tokens through supported app flows.
Deletion requests
Users may request deletion of support-related records or account-linked data held by Soggle LLC by contacting support. Some deletion outcomes may depend on data held by third-party service providers or on whether retention is required for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Children’s privacy
Clawmagotchi is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support or account flow, contact Soggle LLC so the issue can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Clawmagotchi changes. If the app introduces materially different data practices, this page should be updated before those changes are released.
