Privacy policy
ClawMeld
This Privacy Policy explains how Soggle LLC handles information in connection with the ClawMeld iOS app. ClawMeld is a voice-first notes app for OpenClaw that can capture spoken thoughts, optional context, and user-selected destination settings.
This policy is intended to describe what ClawMeld collects, how it is collected, how it is used, when it may be shared with service providers selected by the user, how long it is retained, and how a user can revoke permissions or request deletion.
Information ClawMeld may collect
- Voice input and transcribed note content created by the user.
- Optional image content selected or captured by the user for on-device OCR.
- Optional contextual metadata such as current media context, location name, and motion state when those features are enabled.
- Configuration data such as preferred destination, gateway URL, and app settings.
- Authentication or connection credentials that the user chooses to supply for external services.
- Support messages and any attachments or device details the user includes in support emails.
How information is collected
- Directly from the user when they record a note, add visual context, connect a destination, or contact support.
- Through iOS permission flows for microphone, speech recognition, camera or photo input, location, and motion, when those features are used.
- From on-device processing such as speech transcription, OCR, reverse geocoding, and activity detection.
- From third-party services only when the user has chosen to connect those services.
How information is used
- To capture, transcribe, and organize user-created notes.
- To attach optional context such as media playback, movement state, or location name to a note.
- To save or transmit notes to destinations the user has selected, such as Google Drive, Notion, or an OpenClaw gateway.
- To maintain connected-service state and app preferences.
- To diagnose bugs, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.
Third-party services and sharing
ClawMeld can share information with services the user explicitly chooses to connect, including:
- Google, when a user signs in to Google Drive and uploads note files.
- Notion, when a user provides an integration token and saves notes to a Notion page.
- An OpenClaw gateway, when a user configures a gateway URL and sends notes there.
Soggle LLC does not sell personal information. ClawMeld is intended to share user data only as needed to provide the destination or workflow the user has chosen.
Retention
ClawMeld is designed to keep a significant portion of its operational data on the user’s device. Stored credentials and configuration values remain available until the user disconnects a service, changes the setting, removes the app, or clears the relevant device data.
Note content sent to external destinations is retained according to the retention practices of the selected destination, such as Google Drive, Notion, or an OpenClaw deployment controlled by the user.
Revoking consent and deleting data
- Users can revoke iOS permissions such as microphone, speech recognition, location, camera, or motion access in the iPhone Settings app.
- Users can disconnect Google Drive or Notion from within ClawMeld and can remove any content previously stored in those services directly from those services.
- Users can remove gateway settings or API keys from ClawMeld settings.
- Users may request deletion of support-related information by emailing support.
Children’s privacy
ClawMeld is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support or another app workflow, contact Soggle LLC so the issue can be reviewed.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as ClawMeld evolves. If the app adds new data practices, permissions, analytics, or third-party services, this page should be updated before those changes are released.
